Pan Miaofei: Messenger of China-Canada Friendship

On June 19, 2017, at the personal invitation of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, the honorary chairman of the Federation of Canadian Chinese Associations and the famous overseas Chinese leader Pan Miaofei and his wife went to Ottawa to attend the summer reception held by the Federal Liberal Party at the Lawyer Club of the Canadian War Museum and garden party. This is an annual grand event for the Liberal Party to thank its supporters, and all celebrities from all walks of life were invited to attend.

Trudeau's wife, Sophie Gegoire-Trudeau, a mother of three, is still beautiful and graceful. Sophie is enthusiastic about public welfare and is deeply loved by people of all ethnic groups in Canada.



The first lady, Ms. Sophie, is very close to the people. She took a group photo with Pan Miaofei and Yang Wenhuan At the invitation of Prime Minister Trudeau, Mr. and Mrs. Pan Miaofei participated in this event together with Mr. Zeng Tianshu, the lifetime honorary president of Wenzhou Tongduo Association of Canada, and his wife, Ms. Xia Lianghuan, and Ms. Wang Yan, chairman of Canada’s DIAMOND QUEEN COLLECTION LTD. More than 800 people. Pan Miaofei and others successively visited the Canadian Federal Parliament and the Governor's Mansion and other cultural landscapes. When meeting with Prime Minister Trudeau, he reported to the Prime Minister the situation of Chinese and overseas Chinese participating in politics and integrating into mainstream society. At the same time, he also had an in-depth exchange of views with the Prime Minister on the specific difficulties faced by Chinese in participating in and discussing state affairs. Prime Minister Trudeau highly praised Mr. Pan Miaofei's efforts in promoting community harmony, donating to public welfare undertakings, and actively participating in Canadian political life.
