Why are so many Canadians so docile and spineless, uncomplaining when the actions of the federal governments are costing them their liberties and standard of living?
Under the Mark Carney government, Canada lost 25,000 jobs in January.
Did we complain?
Naw.
Did we suggest that he wasn’t doing a good job managing the economy, like the great banker that the PMO-paid legacy media would have us believe?
Not in your life.
In fact, 70% of us think he is far preferable as prime minister over Pierre Poilievre.
China deal should have us ponder
Carney executed a secret agreement with the dictatorial leaders of the Chinese Communist Party to have our respective police and security forces exchange intelligence, just before that very tyrannical and bloodthirsty government sentenced publisher Jimmy Lai, aged 78, to another 20 years of jail for “sedition.”
In China, advocating a democratic form of choosing governments is punishable by life jail sentences, if you are lucky enough not to be murdered by the state.
Members of Parliament elected by Canadians have asked for, and been refused, the opportunity to read that agreement which will have a massive impact on our way of living.
Has there been a debate in Parliament about the wisdom of abandoning our biggest trading partner, and our protector since the Second World War, in favour of a country which is increasingly antagonistic to our way of life?
No.
Why should there be?
The vast majority of us love our one-man government!
Sound democratic?
Nope — more like China, if you ask me.
What next?
Invite the spooks and thugs of the Secret Police of the Chinese Communist Party to sit down with CSIS?
Sure — that will certainly further isolate Canada from an already-strained-to-the-hilt relationship with our former close allies — i.e. Great Britain, the United States, and Australia.
Cost and quality of life not improving
And what about the Carney promises of a year ago that Canada was now free of the silly Justin Trudeau policies and about to get back to building a lasting economy with pipelines and resource-based projects and jobs?
Nothing, except for what Canada seems to be a world leader in — creating more highly-paid bureaucracies to study the options.
The price of food climbs higher every quarter.
Homes and businesses owned by Jews are attacked by mobs of nasty, paid thugs who want to change the Canadian way of life, and our authorities do nothing.
Our form of government, for which tens of thousands of men and women fought for and sacrificed their lives, seems to be a thing of the past.
So why are so many of us acquiescent?
Turned on Trudeau but still love for Carney
OK, many Canadians voted for Trudeau because they “liked ” him — not that we liked his daft policies, but that we liked “him.”
Until we got to know him more after many years, and realized that his wacky woke concepts were contributing to Canada falling behind, and then we gave him the business end of our boots.
But what is the story with the love affair with Carney?
The taxpayer-subsidized press is doing what it is paid to do — present Carney in the best light possible.
And cast Poilievre as a made-in-Canada Trump.
We’ve been made to feel guilty for so long
But Canadians are also suffering from years of Canada-guilting by our government, which labelled us all guilty of genocide (a pure falsehood), shamed us about our resource-based economy (absolute idiocy — remember “no business case for LNG?”), and generally made anyone who believed in a steady job, family values, and drug-free community feel like a right-wing loonie.
By having their values and their society derided by their own government for years, and by having their trusted news sources adulterated by government connivance, we are at the point where many Canadians have lost the will to stick up for what is right and sane, hence their acceptance of actions and policies which would never have passed the smell test just 20 years ago.
Unless Canadians begin again to have faith in what they were taught and how they lived and worked, and reject the “anti-colonialism” jingoism of the exceedingly well-paid academic and government shibboleths, we will continue to see our country continue to falter and accept damaging decisions.
Unless we stand up to those who are trying to destroy our civil society, we will soon lose the privileges that civil society afforded us.
Let’s show them that we are not about to lie down.
Stop tolerating the idiocy.
